What does she do?

Marilyn ensures SHG’s compliance with all federal, state and local labor laws and is the go-to person for team members on all levels for assistance and advice resolving HR questions. She also serves as a key advisor on strategic planning and employee relations.

How did she get here?

Marilyn came to Sweet Hospitality Group in 2012 with over 20 years of experience in human resource management, talent acquisition and employee relations. That experience includes more than a decade as Vice President of Staffing and Employee Relations at Madison Square Garden. In addition to her work at SHG, Marilyn is the Managing Partner of Sageview Consulting, a national HR firm with offices across the country.

Major SHG accomplishments?

Marilyn established all HR functions at SHG which, beyond ensuring compliance, has played a major role in maintaining and advancing our culture.

What makes her life SWEET?

Sports, classic rock and roll (Bruce Springsteen in particular) and, of course, Broadway (which she’s loved since childhood after seeing her first show – A Chorus Line).
