What does he do?

Rainer plans all SHG’s catered events from proposal to execution. He oversees our catering staff, sources vendors and works closely with our culinary and design teams to ensure all events are executed with SHG’s signature service and style.  

 How did he get here?

Native to the islands of Hawaii, Rainer moved to NYC after graduating from the University of Oregon to pursue a career in event planning. Since joining Sweet Hospitality Group in 2014, Rainer has successfully planned hundreds of events for clients that include Disney Theatrical Group, Sony Pictures Television, Steinway & Sons and Anheuser-Busch. 

Major SHG accomplishments? 

Maintaining ongoing relationships and close communication with every client is of paramount importance to Rainer. This commitment is evident in the rave reviews both he and our events receive. Everyone loves Rainer and he is the epitome of SHG’s commitment to building strong, collaborative relationships with our clients.

What makes his life SWEET?

Wandering the city trying new food (he’s a self-proclaimed foodie), watching a Broadway show (often on a weekly basis – he’s been mildly obsessed ever since he saw his first show Kinky Boots) and cheering on his beloved Oregon Ducks.
