What does she do?

Jaimie provides general accounting support and works with the rest of our finance team to ensure our financial records are complete. Her particular focus is in accounts payable and as she puts it “I pay the bills!!!”

How did she get here?

Before making her way to SHG in 2014, Jaimie worked as performer. She traveled the mid-west performing in various shows and theatrical experiences and then worked in live entertainment throughout the tri-state area after moving to NYC in 2013. She decided to hang up her LaDucas when old injuries began reappearing every time it rained. This led to her SHG debut as a cocktail server at Studio 54 during the 2014 production of Cabaret. She later transferred to Lincoln Center Theater (where she mastered the art of assisted listening devices) and ultimately managed our bar at the Claire Tow Theater. 

Major SHG accomplishments?

Jaimie was thrilled to have the opportunity to move into her role in accounting. She considers learning those new skills a major accomplishment. She also thinks of her time at Cabaret as her favorite theater role. “We were basically part of the show and what a blast we all had!”

What makes her life SWEET?

Her two rescue cats (both named after Mario characters – Bowzer and Boo), video and board games (obviously), vegetarian cookery, reading and yoga (apparently, she’s very zen).
