What does he do?

Dan is responsible for the successful operation – from staffing to client relations to compliance – of concessions and events at all SHG theater venues.  

How did he get here?

Dan has a BFA in Musical theatre and an MFA in Classical Acting from LAMDA and worked as an actor in New York, on tour, regionally and in the UK before joining SHG in 2013. He started as a coat check attendant at the American Airlines Theater, but quickly trained as a bartender and backup manager. He managed the bars at the Walter Kerr and New Amsterdam theaters before joining the operations team. 

 Major SHG accomplishments?

Dan created a unique, specialized service plan for Springsteen on Broadway and oversaw its implementation for both productions. He also set up service plans and remote management processes for our regional theaters, including Williamstown Theatre Festival.

What makes his life SWEET?

Caring for his fur babies (all named after character’s in To Kill a Mockingbird) and constantly adding to his encyclopedic knowledge of all things Harry Potter, RuPaul’s Drag Race and Broadway.
