What does he do?

Peej ensures our office has everything it needs to keep running and provides executive support. He enhances the experience of staff and visitors alike. He also produces and films entertaining and educational video content for our training program and social media accounts. 

How did he get here?

Peej attended Gettysburg College with a double major in Japanese Studies and Theatre Arts. He considers SHG his “first ever ‘grown up’ job” but also worked as a performer before and during his tenure with us. He started as a bartender in 2011 at the August Wilson Theater during the run of Jersey Boys and has worked at most of our highest volume theaters and shows (most recently Moulin Rouge). Fun fact: in all that time, Peej somehow has never worked an opening or closing night. “I hear it’s quite a time and maybe someday I’ll get to see it!”

Major SHG accomplishments?

Peej is a self-taught video editor and content creator who essentially inspired SHG’s video content initiatives. He honed these skills while stuck at home in 2020 and produced a particularly creative video submission for our virtual holiday party/variety show. Julie loved it and the rest is now SHG history!

 What makes his life SWEET?

His delicious tuxedo cat Jeffrey, cooking something elaborate in his kitchen, keeping his Japanese language skills sharp and fantasizing about vacationing on a cruise ship setting sail out of NYC.
