Inspired by “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”
This refreshing riff on the classic old fashioned is to die for!
1 ½ oz. Jameson Irish Whiskey
½ oz. King’s Ginger Liqueur
1 oz. tarragon infused simple syrup*
2 dashes Scrappy’s Grapefruit Bitters
Tarragon (for garnish)
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice
- Stir until well chilled and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice
- Garnish with a tarragon sprig
*Steep two sprigs of tarragon in one cup of boiling water for 10 minutes.
Add one cup superfine sugar and stir until dissolved.
