Inspired by The Secret Life of Bees, this whiskey cocktail will tell the winter blues to buzz off, and usher in the springtime!
Ingredients
2 oz. Jack Daniels
1 1/2 oz. Grapefruit Juice
1/2 oz. Honey Syrup*
Ginger Beer
*If you don’t have honey syrup, combine equal parts honey and warm water. Stir to combine, and allow to cool. Store any leftover in the refrigerator, or just make another round!
Preparation
Combine all of the ingredients except ginger beer in an ice-filled glass.
Stir to chill, then top with ginger beer.
Garnish with fresh grapefruit and a sprig of mint.
